I have known I wanted to be a teacher since I was a child playing school in our basement in Maryland.  As a California credentialed teacher, I have taught in a variety of school settings since 1997, and in my private practice since 2005.  I now teach students from all over Marin County in my home office in San Rafael.  My specialty is teaching math concepts from elementary skills through high school Algebra.   I have years of experience teaching both general ed. students as well as students with learning challenges.  Math has always come naturally to me, and it is so exciting to use an approach, Making Math Real, that enables me to make math accessible to all students.
